Crusonia Conversations: Rob Trice & Eve Turow-Paul

October 14, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Our upcoming conversation will feature Rob Trice, Founding Partner, Better Food Ventures, and Eve Turow-Paul, Food Culture Expert, Author of Hungry & Founder of Food for Climate League. REGISTER HERE.

Food is among our most basic needs for survival. But, it is much more than that. Food brings joy. It connects us in a way that is uniquely human bringing together family and community in times of celebration and in times of sorrow. Food is central to virtually every culture on the planet.

While this connection between food and culture is timeless, the importance is more profound among Millennials and Gen Z than perhaps any other generations in modern history. A part of this is certainly a greater awareness of our responsibility to the planet to reduce carbon footprint and create more sustainable farming and production practices. But is it something more? And how will these generations positively impact, and lead, the creation of a new, healthier food system?

Join author and globally recognized thought leader, Eve Turow-Paul for our next Crusonia Conversation. Eve focuses on the intersection of the Digital Age, food trends, and well-being. She is the author of Hungry: Avocado Toast, Instagram Influencers, and Our Search for Connection and Meaning.

Eve will be joined by Rob Trice, founder of Better Food Ventures, a company that invests in businesses harnessing the power of information technology to create a better food system. Rob will provide insight on how data-driven innovation in these areas, often propelled by Millennials and Gen Z, is making the promise of a better food system real and how it aligns with consumer demand. Together, they will discuss how the Digital Age has impacted Millennials and Gen Z and influences their relationship with food.
